Asthma/COPD: Easy Breathing Class
Easy Breathing is a 2 hour class for patients with ongoing lung conditions such as asthma, emphysema or chronic bronchitis. This class is taught by a registered nurse and covers the following:
- Daily self management of your lung condition
- Appropriate use of medications
- Dealing with anxiety
- Responding to respiratory emergencies
UC Davis Asthma Network (UCAN) program
The UCAN Clinic provides treatment and education for patients with difficult to control asthma and COPD. UCAN team includes registered respiratory therapists who are nationally certified asthma educators, an allergy professor and two professors of pulmonary medicine, all of whom are “asthmatologists”.
