Department of Neurology staff physicians are skilled general clinicians who participate in advancing their field by conducting innovative research and teaching as members of the UC Davis Medical School faculty. UC Davis Children's Hospital pediatric neurologists have expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders including epilepsy, autism, congenital myasthenia gravis, brain malformations and other neuromuscular disorders. Our neurologists take frequent advantage of the valuable consultative services available through numerous other pediatric subspecialties within the UC Davis Health System.

Celia Chang, M.D.
Celia Chang is a pediatric neurologist who offers comprehensive diagnostic and consultative services for children suffering from diseases and congenital disorders of the nervous and neuromuscular systems, including epilepsy, movement disorders, muscular dystrophies and muscle weakness.

Neurodevelopmental teams include a pediatric neuropsychologist, speech and language specialist, occupational therapist and social worker who collaborate in assessing children with autism and pervasive developmental disorders (PDDs).
