Child Neurology Clinic - making an appointment
Appointments in the Child Neurology Clinic at the M.I.N.D. Institute are made through referral by primary care physician. Appointments should be scheduled through the UC Davis Physician Referral service at (800) 482-3284. A physician with an urgent referral should contact Janet Pitcher, Neurology Nurse Practitioner, at the M.I.N.D. Institute. Her number is (916) 703-0313.
Patients with first-time or follow-up appointments should have all medical records, test results, psychological assessment and pertinent school data available during the visit. Parents should take the initiative in obtaining this information and sending it to the M.I.N.D. Institute Clinic in care of Child Neurology well in advance of their initial appointment.
Be aware that our clinic does not have contracts with all health insurance providers. If your insurance provider does not cover a visit to our clinic, you have the option to pay for the assessment in cash.
