Clinical/Research Interests
Conduct psychological and child welfare evaluations, including: parent-child relationship assessments, differential diagnosis, treatment/reunification planning, and juvenile/adult recidivism risk assessment. Supervise trainees and staff who are conducting child welfare and psychological evaluations. Provide consultation to agencies throughout Northern California regarding emergent mental health concerns, treatment needs, and adoption/placement planning. Lead training for multidisciplinary agencies regarding the provision of evaluation and treatment services, with an emphasis on evaluating children and families with a history of maltreatment. Provide Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, individual, and conjoint therapy.
Research interests include: assessing the impact of violence on families, conducting quality child welfare evaluation services, and decreasing placement disruption for children in foster care.
