Support Services
UC Davis Cancer Center provides a broad range of support services. These services can help patients with nutrition, psychosocial support or such practical matters as short- or longer-term housing near the medical center during treatment, or transportation to and from medical appointments.
Other services include:
- palliative care services to help people with cancer continue more of their normal activities -- and live each day to the fullest
- home health and hospice services provide care for patients with advanced disease who wish to remain at home
- medical interpreting and translation in 21 languages
The Cancer Center also houses a pharmacy and lab, both on the main floor. The pharmacy can fill prescriptions from any UC Davis doctor. For the convenience of our patients, the lab can also handle orders from doctors from outside the Cancer Center.
