Pediatric Cancer Resource Center
Welcome to the online Pediatric Cancer Resource Center provided by UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center and UC Davis Children's Hospital — an educational and supportive place with helpful information for parents and guardians of infants, children, adolescents and young adults with cancer.
The most important messages: You are not alone. Help is available. Our aim is to provide the best available treatment, support and information to you and your child as each of you moves along in this journey.
Over the past 25 years, great progress has been made in the treatment of childhood and adolescent cancers. Survival has increased from 30 percent to 80 percent. There are new and better drugs, treatments and methods to help young patients deal with the side effects of treatment and have a better quality of life. In spite of all this good news, however, cancer is still a serious disease. We hope the information and resources offered on this site will be helpful.
We invite you to explore this site using the links on the right side of this page. Keep checking back – we'll be updating information and adding new features on a regular basis.
