The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) is a health professional who coordinates and follows through in the overall administration and outcome of clinical studies. The Senior Clinical Research Coordinator provides leadership for a department-wide clinical research program. Coordinates, performs and oversees clinical trials data management, scheduled trial treatments and follow-up care of patients on consortium, cooperative group (e.g. SWOG, GOG, NSABP, etc.), in-house and/or industry sponsored protocols. The Clinical Research Analyst plays a critical role in the independent performance of compliance, technical, fiscal and administrative services required to support cancer clinical trials, including Medicare Coverage Analysis, cost analysis and proposal development, negotiation of terms, medical record abstraction, clinical research billing compliance, invoicing, and financial reports.
