Cancer to Health
“Just give it a try — it’s completely life-changing. It’s easier to live with cancer after going through the program. Now I have hope.” — Cynthia Meier

From Cancer to Health is an education and support program to help people with cancer connect, cope and manage stress.

People diagnosed with cancer feel a great deal of stress. Over time, that stress can disrupt the healing process. From Cancer to Health is a 12-week program that focuses on managing stress related to a cancer diagnosis and treatment. Participants in the group will learn:

  • Skills to cope with common problems faced by people with cancer
  • Ways to lessen the impact of physical symptoms of cancer
  • Strategies to help manage stress

“ Everyone gets to know each other really well and trusts each other. This is important because it lets group members talk about more personal concerns, like sexual health and body image. — Jena Cooreman“
