May is National Cancer Research Month
In 2007, the United States Congress declared May National Cancer Research Month. The UC Davis Cancer Center is joining the American Association for Cancer Research's national campaign to raise awareness of the importance of cancer research and the progress that research institutions are making in critical areas of research and patient care.
UC Davis Cancer Center is the only National Cancer Institute- designated center serving the Central Valley and inland Northern California. As a regional leader in basic and clinical research, our innovative research programs have resulted in the discovery of new tools to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.
In honor of National Cancer Research Month, please take a moment to learn more about our research programs at the UC Davis Cancer Center and consider supporting our efforts to find a cure.
