This special program matches newly diagnosed cancer patients with cancer survivors.

Cancer Resource Center

Cancer ResourcesThe Cancer Resource Center is available for patients and others who would like to learn more about a cancer diagnosis or treatment, as well as find an array of free items such as mastectomy bras, pillows free wigs, hats and more. The center is stocked with educational materials on all cancer types and provides computer work stations for online information searches.

Located on the second floor of the North Building, the resource center is open weekdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Information Search Service

The Cancer Center offers an Information Search Service for UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center patients, their families and caregivers.

You can use this service to request information about a particular treatment approach, or any other cancer-related topic. Searches are performed by staff at our Cancer Resource Center.

Information request forms are available at the Cancer Resource Center, on the main floor of the Cancer Center, or can be printed out by CLICKING HEREarrow left.  Completed forms should be faxed to 916-734-7451 or mailed to the address listed on the form. The information you request will be mailed to you within two working days. For more information about this service, please call the Cancer Resource Center at 916-734-5935.

Volunteer Opportunity

The Cancer Resource Center is staffed by trained volunteers from our local community. They help visitors find and print online materials, assist with administrative tasks and provide referrals to other agencies in the community.
