At UC Davis Cancer Center, education is central to our mission. We educate patients, the public, health-care professionals and the next generation of physicians on all aspects of cancer prevention, early detection, treatment and recovery.

Along with exceptional patient care and rigorous research programs, UC Davis Cancer Center offers a wide range of educational services for patients, their families, friends and caregivers — anyone interested in learning more about cancer.

These services include:

• Cancer Resource Center

• Healing Arts Program

In addition, we partner with the American Cancer Society to offer "Look Good ... Feel Better" workshops that give cancer patients tips about looking their best during treatment.
