Highlights - 20th Annual Anesthesiology Update

The 20th Annual UC Davis Anesthesiology Update was well attended with attendees from as far away as Switzerland. Dr. Christopher Bernards, Virginia Mason Medical Center, Seattle, Washington, presented on spinal opioid drugs. Dr. Brendan Carvalho, Stanford University School of Medicine, offered an update on preventing hypotension during cesarean delivery. The ultrasound guided peripheral nerve block workshops and the TEE workshop offered unique hands-on training.
