AIDS Clinical Trials Unit

The AIDS Clinical Trials Unit (ACTU) at UC Davis Medical Center was established early in 2002 as a center for state-of-the-art HIV/AIDS clinical trials.  The UC Davis Medical Center designation as an ACTU makes it part of the world's largest organization involved in HIV/AIDS clinical trials research, the AIDS Clinical Trials Group, a nationwide network.  This group has been instrumental in setting standards of care for treatment of HIV and it's complications throughout the world.  Funding in part comes from a grant provided by the National Institutes of Health, Division of Allergies and Infectious Diseases, Division of AIDS.

The ACTU at UC Davis Medical Center is dedicated to offering the latest in research clinical trials to HIV/AIDS patients throughout Northern Central California.
