Assistant/Associate Professor, Clin X/HSCP
Orthopaedic Foot Service
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, School of Medicine, University of California, Davis is seeking applicants for an Assistant or Associate Professor with an expertise in foot and lower extremity surgery to serve on the Orthopaedic Foot Service. This is an appointment in the Clinical X or HSCP series at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Academic rank is commensurate with credentials.
Qualifications include: M.D. degree or equivalent medical training, successful completion of a certified Orthopaedic Surgery residency training program, fellowship training (or equivalent) and interest in foot and lower extremity surgery. The candidate must be eligible for licensure in California.

Assistant Professor, In Residence and Tenure-Track (50/50) (Matrix Biologist)
The University of California, Davis, School of Medicine is recruiting for a full-time academic position at the Assistant Professor level that will be 50% In Residence and 50% Regular tenured track in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. The candidate will hold a 12-month appointment in the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine to be renewed annually. A Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Experimental Medicine or other doctoral degree with appropriate experience is required.
The candidate must have experience in extracellular matrix biology, with a background in medical applications preferred. Experience with application for competitive research funding is desired. Experience with cell and tissue biological techniques is highly desirable. The candidate will work to develop an independent academic research program. Collaboration with members of the remainder of the University including the College of Letters and Science, the School of Veterinary Medicine, College of Engineering and others are expected

Associate/Full Professor, Tenure-Track
Doris Ellison Linn Endowed Chair in Bone Biology
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, School of Medicine, University of California, Davis is seeking to fill a tenure-related endowed faculty position. We expect to make an appointment at the level of Full Professor. However, in the case of an appropriately qualified applicant, an appointment at Associate or full Professor rank may be considered. The professor will hold a fiscal year (12 month) appointment in the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine and hold the Doris Ellison Linn Chair of Bone Biology.
This endowed chair position requires a Ph.D. or M.D. degree, with expertise in the field of musculoskeletal research. The candidate will be expected to work closely with other faculty members in addition to maintaining an independent research program. The professor will work with faculty from the remainder of the University within the College of Letters and Sciences, the School of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Engineering and others. University service and teaching are expected. The endowment provides a generous annual distribution to support the programs of the professorship, however additional external funding to support the program is expected.
